The spectrum of Mithra

The spectrum
of Mithra

An abstract painting that springs from the depth of the myth and dives into the light of meaning. In this work, the spirit of Mithra, the God of light, Covenant and truth, is embodied in ancient Persian mythology — as a fleeting spectrum that penetrates the darkness without being seen, but felt, touched in the glowing aura behind the haze of overlapping colors. Shadows and color spots dance in the painting as if they were spectra from a bygone time, emanating from the unknown and fading into it, as if Mithra himself had passed through here, leaving a trace that is perceived not so much by sight as by awakening the senses. A touch of light resists nothingness, fragments of old promises swim in a dense gray space, defying silence and carrying with them the serenity of the ages and the trembling of truth. This painting simulates man's struggle with inner darkness, his eternal longing for the source of light, that limitless spectrum, which appears only when the sight closes and the insight opens. It's a meditation invitation. Rather, it is an emotional experience, passing through time and language, that springs from silence to reshape the light in the eyes of the one who contemplates it
