In this deep abstract painting, the eternal human struggle between fear and liberation is manifested, between the darkness that inhabits memory and the light that calls for hope. The figures and lines pulsate with a dramatic energy, as if embodying a soul in search of salvation, trying to escape from the clutches of the darkness that haunts it.

Abstract art painting

The lower part of the canvas is dominated by black with dark gradients, which gives the scene a sense of heaviness, like a representation of suppressed fear, of those shades that live in the corners of the psyche and hinder it from taking off. These patches of dark colors stretch as if holding on to the upper parts, trying to keep them in their orbit, but they cannot stop the released upward movement.

And, in turn, glowing patches of yellow, orange and white, climbing the spaces, rebelling against the dominance of darkness, turn into warm energy moving towards a brighter and more open space. It is a symbol of liberation, a person's journey towards overcoming his inner fears, in which escape from darkness becomes not just a physical movement, but spiritual and mental liberation.

Intersecting fine lines add visual tension, like threads of indecision and bewilderment, reflecting the oscillation between fear and the desire for confrontation. There is fluidity in the composition, but it is not without challenge, as if the figures are struggling among themselves, rushing upwards, despite attempts to pull out.

Escape from the phobia of darkness . It is a visual narrative of an existential psychological state, in which a person faces his fears, tries to overcome them, to eventually reach a brighter horizon, where escape is not just an escape, but a new beginning of liberation and rebirth.
